Ads are minimal — and never on the tools
The free tier of CipherGuard shows at most a single ad unit, placed below the fold on the home page only. There are no ads on any tool page, where you type or paste passwords to generate, check, or validate. Ads never interrupt a check and never see your passwords — the strict connect-src 'self' https://api.pwnedpasswords.com Content-Security-Policy applies everywhere. Ads are only ever enabled by an explicit build flag; the default build ships with zero ad bytes.
A fully ad-free Pro tier is coming
A future CipherGuard Pro tier will remove ads entirely and add bulk password generation (many at once + export), breach-monitor batch checking, and advanced policy presets (NIST / PCI / corporate) — all still 100% client-side, with no transmission. It is not available yet.
Every tool works fully and free today, with no key required.
